The Interdepartmental Program (IDP) in American Indian Studies includes several participating academic schools and departments: Anthropology, Art History, Education, English and Comparative Literature, Ethnomusicology, History, Law, Linguistics, Sociology, Theater Arts, and World Arts and Cultures.

APPLICATIONS DEADLINES:

For applicants to the Master of Arts degree program in American Indian Studies:

the APPLICATION DEADLINE: DECEMBER 15

For applicants to the J.D./M.A. join degree program in Law and American Indian Studies,

the M.A. APPLICATION DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 1
(Joint degree applicants to the M.A. program, please note: If you want to be considered for fellowship support, it is recommended you submit your M.A. application by January 15.)

  • Library for specialized research
  • Student/Community Relations offers student support services to individual students and to the various student groups associated with American Indian Studies
  • Publications produces a quarterly journal and books devoted to scholarship by and about Indian people
