Director's Message

Hanay Geiogamah (Kiowa) continues as the Interim Director of the UCLA American Indian Studies Center for the 2007-08 academic year. Hanay is Professor of Theater in the School of Theater, Film and Television.

The UCLA Institute of American Cultures, in cooperation with the American Indian Studies Center has awarded a visiting scholar fellowship to Dr. Deborah Miranda for the 2007-08 academic year.

ICSC's Board of Directors Appointed and in Full Operation
18 tribes in San Diego County, are unique both in their historical relationship to the region as well as in their contemporary exercise of tribal sovereignty and self determination through their participation in the recently created Intertribal Court of Southern California (ICSC).
