Indigenous Rights Advocacy and Human Rights: The Past, the Future and the Visions of Change, a roundtable discussion at the Institute for the Study of Human Rights

The roundtable examines connections between history of indigenous political mobilization and the social and political contexts of making indigenous human rights, with the focus on the United Nations human rights forums. Structured as an interdisciplinary dialogue among international scholars and professionals from the fields of law, social history, anthropology, and human rights, the roundtable seeks to create a multidisciplinary discussion on meaning and the future of the indigenous human rights, especially within the context of the 2007 UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
