Congratulations to Peter Nabokov!

Dear UCLA AIS Community Members,
We would like to send out a hearty farewell and congratulations to Dr. Peter Nabokov who retired on July 1, 2021 from the departments of World Arts and Cultures and American Indian Studies at UCLA. Dr. Nabokov faculty line was held by the American Indian Studies Center, and he taught in both departments for over two decades and is the author of numerous books and monographs. Please join the faculty, staff and alumni of the UCLA AISC and the AIS IDP in wishing Dr. Nabokov a well-deserved congratulations on this momentous occasion and best of luck in his future endeavors!
